12 Days of Christmas

01/16/2011

It seems like the holidays last FOREVER sometimes!  Don't get me wrong I love the Holidays, but the kids are out for 75% of the season and then some extra days for being sick!  In January, I began to wonder why I was glad to be back at work full time and realized that a good bit of my holiday was surrounded by potty issues and the remainder was draped in drama.  I've compiled a list of 12 things that happened to me and my boys this Holiday season.  I hope you enjoy my 12 days of Christmas and I hope yours was more peaceful.

Cue the music!

On the 1st day of Christmas my preschooler gave to me...a playroom floor pile of poopie.

On the 2nd day of Christmas my toddler gave to me...a swirl of a toothbrush in the potty.

On the 3rd day of Christmas my toddler gave to me...two hairbrushes in the potty.

On the 4th day of Christmas my toddler gave to me... a brand new roll of toilet paper in the potty.

On the 5th day of Christmas my toddler gave to me... a black eye from when he tossed his sippy.

On the 6th day of Christmas my toddler gave to me...a goose egg from playing spatula sword fight with a baby.

On the 7th day of Christmas my preschooler proudly gave to me... a backyard pile of poopie.

On the 8th day of Christmas my toddler gave to me... a bathroom floor full of tee tee.

On the 9th day of Christmas my toddler gave to me...a complex because he walks better in my high heels than me.

On the 10th day of Christmas my toddler gave to me...a mystery item stuck in my hair at work slash lost banana discovery.

On the 11th day of Christmas my toddler gave to me...4 shattered "baw"s that I had carefully hung on the Christmas tree.

When I thought all was lost and the Christmas season was only full of drama and stress...

On the 12th day of Christmas my preschooler gave to me: PRIDE during nighttime prayers when he thanked Jesus for His Birthday...overwhelming glee.

Here's to what January has in store!
